Kinetriq Privacy Policy

Kinetriq ("Kinetriq," "we," "us," or "our") provides an iOS application that
analyzes exercise form and movement quality. This Privacy Policy explains what
information the app handles and how. By using Kinetriq, you agree to this policy.

## The short version
- **Your videos and movement analysis stay on your device.** Pose detection,
joint-angle math, rep counting, and grading all run locally on your iPhone. We
do not upload, store, or have access to your videos or the movement data
derived from them.
- We collect only what's needed to run your **account** and your **subscription**:
your email, an optional name, a user ID, and your purchase status.
- **We do not track you** across other apps or websites, and we do not use
advertising or analytics SDKs.

## Information we collect
### 1. Account information (when you create an account or sign in)
- **Email address.**
- **Name** — only if you choose to share it via Sign in with Apple. Apple may
provide a private relay email instead of your real address; that's fine.
- **Account user identifier** — a unique ID assigned to your account.
This is handled through our authentication provider, **Supabase**.
### 2. Subscription / purchase information
- Your **subscription status and purchase history** for Kinetriq Pro, processed
through **RevenueCat** and **Apple's App Store**. Apple processes the actual
payment; we never receive your full payment card details.
### 3. Camera and photo library (processed on-device only)
- Kinetriq uses your **camera** for live analysis and can access **videos you
select** from your photo library for saved-video analysis.
- This media is processed **on your device**. It is **not uploaded to us or any
third party**, and the resulting pose/movement data is not transmitted off your
device. Any exported clip or summary image you choose to share is created
locally and shared only through the destinations you pick (e.g. Messages,
email).
### What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your videos, photos, or movement/health analysis data.
- We do not collect precise or coarse location.
- We do not use analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or cross-app tracking
SDKs.

## How we use information
We use the limited information above to:
- Create and maintain your account and authenticate you across your devices.
- Provide and restore your Kinetriq Pro subscription entitlement.
- Validate promotional or comp codes you redeem.
- Respond to support requests and meet legal/tax obligations.
We do **not** sell your personal information, and we do **not** use it for
third-party advertising.

## Third-party service providers
We share the minimum necessary information with providers that operate the
service on our behalf:

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy and applicable
agreements.

## Data retention and deletion
- We retain account and subscription records for as long as your account is
active.
- **You can delete your account at any time** in the app (Settings → Account →
Delete Account). This removes your app-owned account data and deletes your
authentication record. Anonymized transaction records may be retained where
required for financial, tax, or legal compliance.
- Because videos and movement analysis are processed on-device and never sent to
us, there is nothing for us to delete on the server in that regard; on-device
data is removed when you delete the app or clear it through iOS.

## Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit via HTTPS) to
protect the limited account and subscription data we handle. No method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

## Children's privacy
Kinetriq is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in
your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we
will delete it.

## Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA),
you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal
information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these
rights, contact us at kevin@kinetriq.net. We do not sell or "share" (as
defined under CCPA/CPRA) your personal information.

## International users
We are based in California, USA. If you use Kinetriq from outside that region,
your account/subscription information may be processed in countries with
different data-protection laws than your own.

## Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last
updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
